"Polarized", "Polarized Society," are phrases that the average Salvadoran uses, ad-nauseam, referring to political enmities or speak loudly and non-understanding. This is understood by the majority of Salvadoran citizens. We are right when talking about misunderstandings between political ends, or when public opinion is divided into opposing groups. This, then, the process by which the opinion public is divided on opposite sides.

But there is another, the true polarization, generated by political polarization and social polarization. This stems from the conflicts of class interests: the interests of the ruling class and the dominated class are antagonistic. contradictory. The class interests of the dominated can not be united with the ruling class. So we repeat this can not be a government of national unity.

To depolarize society should depolarize socially. If this is achieved, will result in a depolarization policy. To achieve this, it must involve unjust social and economic structures of the country. This is, in other words, to twist their state of affairs.
So we can not speak of depolarizing the country politically, nor to have a "Culture of Peace, without depolarizing socially, looking to it for the foundation of society and the state.
